Beth Yeshua Core Beliefs

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is God-inspired and, is the authority in all matters pertaining to a Believer’s faith and practice.

God

We believe that the Shema - “Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one” (Deut. 6:4) - teaches that God is Echad, as so declared: a united one, a composite unity, and is perfect, infinite and eternal.

Yeshua Hamashiah ( Jesus Christ)

We believe that God became man in the person of Yeshua and He is both completely divine and completely human.

Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and that He empowers us for life and service. We believe in the present day operation of the nine supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit, as recorded in 1 Cor. 12. We also believe in the ministry gifts of Christ, as recorded in Eph. 4:11-13

Man

We believe that man was created in the image of God but has alienated himself from God and is in need of reconciliation.

Salvation

We believe a person can receive eternal life through faith in Messiah’s death and resurrection.

Resurrection and Judgment

We believe in the resurrection of both the redeemed and the lost: the former to everlasting life and the latter to eternal separation from God.

Congregation

We believe that the New Covenant body of believers is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who have received Yeshua the Messiah as the Promised Redeemer and who meet together on a regular basis.

Israel

We believe in God’s plan for the nation of Israel, and we believe in the physical and spiritual restoration of Israel, as taught in the Scriptures. The greatest miracle of our day has been the re-establishment, or rebirth, of the State of Israel, according to prophecy.
